TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; Truckee Automotive has relocated and expanded their automotive repair and smog check facility to a new location: 12219 Business Park Drive at Truckee Tahoe Airport Road, off of Highway 267, behind the Porter Simon office building.

Owners Jerry and Susanne Detwiler hired local commercial real estate broker James T. Macdonell, of Main Street Commercial Real Estate, to handle the search and negotiations of their new facility.

The Detwilerand#8217;s recently sold their property on Deerfield Road to Howard and Laura Bronstone, who plan to relocate their childrenand#8217;s gymnastics facility and#8220;My Playgroundand#8221; there in early summer. Macdonell also represented and advised the Bronstones with their purchase of the building from the Detwilers.

and#8220;Jerry and Susanne asked me to search for a facility that was located along a primary arterial commuter route as a way to better service their growing customer base in Truckee, Glenshire, Northstar, Lahontan, the Prosser/Alder Areas, downtown Truckee and North Shore Tahoe as well as provide convenience for their existing customers,and#8221; said Macdonell. and#8220;Their new location is steps from all of the businesses near the airport, including the Truckee Town Hall, the Airport, and the many office buildings in the Airport area.

Macdonell notes car owners are opting to repair existing vehicles rather than purchase new, which has been a boon for local auto repair facilities.

Macdonell represents local business owners and commercial property owners.
