TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. andamp;#8212; Where else but in Tahoe will you find ski resorts on the beach?Some of the North Shoreandamp;#8217;s top alpine resorts will take part in the first-ever Winter Preview Expo held in conjunction with the Tahoe Cityandamp;#8217;s Concerts at Commons Beach Series, Sunday, Aug. 28. Alpine Meadows, Homewood, Squaw Valley and Sugar Bowl will be present at the concert which will be headlined by New Monsoon. Resort representatives will be on hand to distribute information and answer questions about the upcoming 2011-12 season.
