What’s your prediction for the 2015-16 Tahoe-Truckee winter? Word on the Street

Ed Wildt

CARNELIAN BAY, Calif. — This week’s question: What’s your prediction for the 2015-16 Tahoe-Truckee winter?

Here are the answers, as asked Saturday in Carnelian Bay:

Marye Joshua, executive assistant in sales, Half Moon Bay, Calif.: “El Niño is going to bring it — hopefully, snow, but California will take water.”

Laser Marquez, works in sales, Sacramento: “Snowy, because it hasn’t snowed in awhile.”

Ed Wildt, motel owner and manager, Carnelian Bay: “Warm and dry like it’s been. It’s not going to change.”

Liesl Keenan, civil engineer, South Lake Tahoe: “I’m hoping for lots of snow. We’re due.”
