Wild Winter Wednesdays and Disabled Sports USA-West will partner up at the River Ranch

TAHOE CITY and#8212; Itand#8217;s that time of year, Wild Winter Wednesdays returns to the River Ranch!

Wild Winter Wednesdays take place every Wednesday throughout the winter season from 4-6:30 p.m. with piled-high nachos and wings and featured drafts.

This year marks the 20th Wild Winter Wednesday season with the Ranch giving back to the community. Proceeds from the weekly raffle will benefit Disabled Sports USA Far West based out of Alpine Meadows Ski Resort. Disabled Sports USA Far West is a non-profit organization and program that has been in operation for more than 40 years to provide opportunities for anyone with a disability to participate in sports including water skiing, golf, cycling, white water rafting and skiing or snowboarding.

Disabled Sports USA Far West operates daily throughout the ski season where approximately 500 clients are served each year. The Disables Sports program was the first of its kind in the country and developed much of the adaptive ski equipment and many teaching methods used in the field today.

The raffle takes place at 6 p.m. each week. Win prizes such as snowboards, snowshoes, sports equipment, Sharks tickets and lift tickets to Alpine Meadows, Northstar, Sugarbowl and Homewood with demos from Daveand#8217;s and more swag each week.
