WIN for Charity is a Tahoe lakefront event

TAHOE CITY, Calif. and#8212; Five college scholarships will be offered high school graduates living in the Incline Village, Tahoe City and Truckee areas with funds generated by a special auction at a spectacular and rarely-seen Lake Tahoe home.

The Linda Nelson Davis estate will be the center of Tahoe League for Charityand#8217;s (TLC) annual Win for Charity event Saturday, July 10, from 3 to 6 p.m. Wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages and hors dand#8217;oeuvres will be served prior to silent and live auctions that will feature a grand prize of $1,000 cash (need not be present to win), vacation stays in Maui; Newport, Ore. and Incline Village. A live quintet will provide a classical music background. Proceeds from the auction and the admission charge of $50 per person go to the special college scholarship fund that has helped scores of deserving students and TLC community needs projects for more than 12 years.
