Aces Ballpark to host Truckee, North Tahoe high school baseball games

Just like they did in 2010, the Truckee and South Tahoe varsity baseball teams will play a nonleague game at Aces Ballpark, home of the Triple-A Pacific Coast Leagueand#8217;s Reno Aces, on Wednesday, April 6 starting at 4 p.m.

This marks the second season local high school baseball games will be played at Aces Ballpark, one of the premier facilities in all of Minor League Baseball.

The ballpark will host several high school games this season, including a contest between North Tahoe and Virginia City on Monday, April 25 at 4 p.m.

In exchange for playing in the ballpark, the high school teams are required to sell 500 Reno Aces tickets. The tickets are $8 a pop.

Admission to all high school games at Aces Ballpark is free.

Edgewood Tahoe to host US Open qualifier


STATELINE, Nev. — The United States Golf Association recently announced that Edgewood Tahoe Resort will host one of 109 local qualifying tournaments for the 2021 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines.
