Alder Creek runners advance to National Junior Olympics

A group of five Alder Creek Middle School runners advanced past the USAFT Regional Junior Olympics Qualifier in Folsom this past Saturday.

The Alder Creek girls placed third as a team while each member qualified individually as well.

In the 3K run, Isabella Terrazas finished sixth with a time of 12:02, Carly Davis placed ninth in 12:16, Hana Mazur was 16th in 12:31, Amelia Swanson was 27th in 13:14 and Caitlin Smith was 28th in 13:15.

The girls now move on to compete in the USAFT National Junior Olympics.
