Ten Incline boys soccer players and nine from North Tahoe were honored with selections to the Division III All-State team, led by Lucas Earley’s MVP.

Incline’s Salvador Vargas was voted Offensive Player of the Year, North Tahoe’s Angel Guerrero was Defensive Player of the Year and North Tahoe’s Beto Alcaraz was Coach of the Year.

The awards were determined by the Division III coaches.

Four Lakers made the All-State first team — forward Omar Cerda, midfielders Chase Whitney and J.P. Herrera, and defender Ross Tester. Five Highlanders made the first team — forward Rey Estrada, midfielders Victor Herrera and Danny Guerrero, and defenders Tommy Thompson and Marlon Correa.

Incline goalkeeper Jose Cordova and defender Alex Alcantara were named to the second team, while Fernando Martinez and Adrian Banuelos received honorable mention recognition. For the Lakers, Edgar Munoz was named to the second team, and Jesus Ortega and Angel Lopez received honorable mention.
