All-State soccer | Vanessa Andrade voted DIII Offensive Player of Year
Six Incline soccer players and seven from North Tahoe were honored with selections to the Division III All-State team, led by Incline forward Vanessa Andrade’s Offensive Player of the Year.
The awards were determined by the league’s coaches.
In addition to Andrade, Incline senior captains Alondra Luna, Caitlin May and Kimberly May, and North Tahoe juniors Bryn Anderson and Allison Wright, were voted to the All-State first team.
North Tahoe’s Mallory Tyler, Emma DesLauriers and Haley Perkins and Incline’s Madison Wallner were voted to the second team, while Incline’s Belle Johnson and North Tahoe’s Kasey Foster and Sophie Hudson received honorable mention.

Whittell junior Kenya Maltase was named MVP and teammate Daria Sharon was Defensive Player of the Year. Whittell coach Patrick Kelly, who led the Warriors to the state championship, was voted Coach of the Year.
