Arcade Belts announces partnership with Protect Our Winters

Submitted to the Sierra Sun

Arcade Belts – a functional, lightweight and durable belt brand – is reinstating its White Friday initiative for the sixth consecutive year.

For every purchase made between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Arcade Belts will donate $5 to Colorado-based nonprofit Protect Our Winters, a charitable organization that turns passionate outdoor people into effective climate advocates.

“We strive to support positive change to climate policy, one of the most pressing threats facing our planet today, and we want to give our customers the opportunity to give back too,” said Arcade Belts CEO Tristan Queen. “Our ongoing partnership with Protect Our Winters makes it feasible for us and our customers to take action, drive awareness and contribute to real change.”

Together, Arcade Belts and Protect Our Winters seek to empower the climate movement to positively affect systemic policy change and spark a cultural shift in climate advocacy. As an added incentive, every customer who purchases a belt during the initiative will receive an entry to win a signed print from professional climber, and Oscar and Emmy Award winning film Director Jimmy Chin.

“We foresee this relationship leaving a real impact on the climate change movement,” said Samantha Killgore, Communications Manager with Protect Our Winters. “We thank every individual who makes a belt purchase, taking us one step closer to positive change.”
