Bob Shaffer to coach in Sertoma Classic All-Star football game

Truckee High football coach Bob Shaffer will serve as one of the two head coaches in the 29th annual Sertoma Classic All-Star game in June.

The game, which brings together 100 of the top graduating senior players from more than 30 high schools in the 2A, 3A and 4A ranks, is scheduled for Friday, June 18 at University of Nevada’s Mackay Stadium. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m.

Carson High’s Blair Roman will coach against Shaffer. The two coaches will select players by way of a draft. Players have not yet been selected.
