Provided to the Sun

The Truckee Donner Chamber of Commerce is holding the seventh annual Summer Golf Classic on May 23 at Old Greenwood.

Don’t miss this chance to play Truckee’s newest course, designed by the Golden Bear himself, Jack Nicklaus.

The event will be a four-person scramble format.

Entry fee is $130 for chamber members and their guests; $140 for non-chamber members; or $500 per chamber foursome. The cost includes green fee, cart, awards ceremony, and the chance to win prizes for skill and fun.

Registration will open at 11 a.m., with a shotgun start at noon.

Regular hole sponsorships are available for $250; specialty hole sponsorships for $300. Sponsorship includes: promotional signage; mention in Truckee Tracks newsletter; name on Official Rules Sheet; press releases; recognition at awards ceremony; opportunity to have your promo materials in every player tote; and one golf spot.

Sign up now, space is limited. Call Ruth Geresy at the chamber office at 587-2757 for more information.
