CNISSF snowboard racing | Wood, Przybyslawski top three in Boreal slalom

Truckee’s Ruby Wood and North Tahoe’s Konrad Przybyslawski led their respective high school snowboard teams at a CNISSF slalom race at Boreal last Monday.

In the girls race, Wood finished runner-up to Nelly Steinhoff of Colfax, posting a time of 59.92 seconds between her two runs to Steinhoff’s 57.79.

North Tahoe’s Roxy Schumann finished fifth in a time of 1:009.2, while teammate Courtney Peters was seventh in 1:12.7, Sierra Aildasani 13th in 1:19.9 and Brie Dubuc 15th in 1:22.4.



Trailing Wood were teammates Nicole Graham (10th, 1:16.0), Claire Roberts (11th, 1:16.9), Wynter Lim (17th, 1:24.5) and Mackenzie Milner (21st, 1:37.0). There were a total of 39 racers.

Jacob Peek and Andrew Carrier of Placer finished 1-2 with times of 1:00.8 and 1:03.5, and Przybyslawski was third in 1:04.8. Nash Baehr finished eighth for the Laker boys in 1:09.1.



Quinntin Butler led the Truckee boys with a sixth-place finish in 1:07.9. Casey Curtis finished 10th in 1:09.5, while Truckee’s Ryan Murphy was 11th in 1:09.9 and Colten Roderigue was 17th in 1:14.1.
