Dylan Zellers wins Jr. World Championships event in Angorra

A handful of Tahoe-area freeskiers took their talents to Andorra in southwestern Europe to compete in the Mora Banc Freeride Junior World Championships this past weekend.

Sixteen-year-old Dylan Zellers claimed the win in the men’s snowboard category, while Corey Walewski placed ninth. Xander Guldman and Chase Whitney finished 21st and 27th, respectively, in the men’s ski category.
