Girls’s soccer beats Whittel

Staff reports

The Truckee High School girls’ varsity soccer team came up with a 1-0 win against Whittell High School on Tuesday.

The lone goal belonged to Jeanna Laurence (check spelling).

“We dominated the came,” said head coach Kyle Adams.

According to Adams the Wolverines controlled the ball for 75 minutes of the game.

Adams claimed the lack of scoring was due to Whittell’s goalie.

“She really kept them in the game,” he said.

“The score was not indicative of how well they played,” Adams said.
