The Tahoe Junior Freeride Series hosted a National IFSA Junior Event at Squaw Valley this past weekend.

The competition was held on Jake’s Face off of the Silverado chair and featured more than 110 skiers and snowboarders between the ages of 12 and 18.

Berkeley Patterson of the Sugar Bowl Freeride team topped the field in the male 15-18 ski division, while Dylan Zellers of the Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows Snowboard Team won the 15-18 snowboard division.



Mia Winans of SquawFree was the top female 15-18 skier, Nathan Bromley of the Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows Snowboard Team was the top 12-14 snowboarder, Turner Drummond of Alpine Big Mountain was the top 12-14 male skier, and Britta Winans of SquawFree was the top 12-14 female skier.

The fourth and final stop of the Tahoe Junior Freeride Series will take place on the Chutes at Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe this Friday through Sunday, April 1-3. The event was rescheduled from March 11-13.
