Incline golfers swept the top three spots to claim the team victory at a Division III tournament at Carson Valley Golf Course last Thursday.
Christine Schwartz earned tournament medalist honors with a low score of 95. She was followed by teammate Tori Findlen with a 99 — her personal best — and Kennedy Cohn with a 103.
Incline’s Kristina Goetz came in at 122 to give the Highlanders a winning team score of 419.
Sierra Lutheran, which hosted the tournament, was second with a 446 and Yerington was third at 487. Sydney Johnson led Sierra Lutheran with a 106 and Felicia Bermen led Yerington with a 105.
“I was pleased with our play and our main goal is to be competitive each week,” said Incline coach Joe Humasti.
The Highlanders are scheduled to host a league tournament at Eagle Valley Country Club.
