Both Incline soccer teams will compete for their third consecutive state title in the Division III state tournament Friday and Saturday in Zephyr Cove.

The Incline boys enter the tournament as the No. 1 seed after finishing 9-0-1 in league play, with the one tie coming against rival North Tahoe.

The Highlanders will take on fourth-seeded Yerington (5-5) in a semifinal match Friday at 4 p.m. If the Highlanders win, they’ll face the winner between North Tahoe (9-0-1) and West Wendover (5-5) for the state championship Saturday at 2 p.m.

Incline’s girls, meanwhile, will enter as the No. 2 seed with a 12-2 record, with both losses coming against top-seeded Whittell (14-0).

They’ll face third-seeded North Tahoe (10-4) on Friday at 2 p.m. The winner advances to the state championship against Whittell or fourth-seeded White Pine (8-6) on Saturday at noon.
