The T-n-T Explosion All-Star Team is getting ready to start their 2005 regional competition season. The team’s first regional competition is at Great America on Sunday, Oct. 17.

The team has been practicing two to three times a week to prepare to represent the communities of Truckee, Tahoe City and Incline Village at Great America. The team will be competing against several Bay Area teams and Sacramento teams, and it will compete in Level 3 All-Star Varsity Cheer Division and All-Star Varsity Hip-Hop Division in dance.

New this year, T-n-T has two team members competing in the Solo Dancer competition in Hip-Hop: Captain Lauren Wilson and Kailey Horton. The team must receive a first place at the regional competition to be invited to go to nationals in Florida.

Community members will have an opportunity to come out and show their support for the team. The closest local competition is on Dec. 4 in Reno at Spanish Springs High School.

If your organization needs entertainment, the team would love to come cheer or dance at your event. There is already a waiting list for next year’s team. Contact Teri McKinney for team info at 582-6994.
