Maehler hauls in three passes in final college football game

Former Truckee standout Jamie Maehler ended his college football career with 20 yards on three receptions during Army’s 34-0 loss against rival Navy on Sunday.

Maehler, a 2005 Truckee grad, finished his senior season with six catches for 50 yards. He played in 11 games primarily as a blocking receiver in Army’s new option offense.

The 6-foot-4 Maehler still owns the Nevada high school record for career receiving yards, with 2,969.
