Nico Monforte top American male in Junior World Championships skicross

VAL THORENS, France — Nine Americans competed in skicross at the 2016 Junior World Championships on Thursday, including Squaw Valley skier Nico Monforte, who was the top U.S. male in 25th.

The top women’s finisher from the USA was Leta McNatt, who was 18th, while Squaw Valley’s Mara White and Heavenly’s Michael Gardner also represented the U.S. team.
