North Tahoe at Truckee volleyball | Wolverines win in 3

The Truckee volleyball team defeated visiting North Tahoe in straight sets Friday night, 25-9, 25-9, 25-4.

Truckee senior Krysta Murphy posted the stat of the night in the third game when she used her difficult jump serve with top spin to string together 17 consecutive serves.

Kiersten Knoppel led the Wolverines in kills, with seven, followed by Kaylee Lewis with six and Mackenzie Redner with five. Katie Mohun tallied a team-high 10 digs and Knoppel had seven.

Mohun finished with a pass rating of 2.20 to lead Truckee.

and#8220;All the players contributed to a solid performance by the team,and#8221; said Truckee coach Kim Thomas.

The Truckee girls are 6-0 in Mount Rose League play and 17-8 overall.
