North Tahoe golf | Freshman places fourth in 2A tournament
Freshman Isabell Schenone led the North Tahoe girls’ golf team with a fourth-place finish individually in a Northern 2A tournament held at Eagle Valley Golf Course last Wednesday.
Schenone carded a 114, while Incline senior Grace Dolan took first place with an 80 and Shelby Wilson of Yerington was second with a 96. Dolan shot an even-par 36 on the first nine and a 44 on the back nine.
Kylie Daniels and Abbi Johnson, both freshmen, also competed for the Lakers, posting scores of 119 and 130, respectively. Daniels’ 119 was good enough for fifth place.
Incline finished with a team score of 438 to Yerington’s 487. North Tahoe had only three golfers and did not record a team score.
