North Tahoe golf | Lakers place fifth at Dayton Valley

Freshman Quinn Earley led the North Tahoe golf team in a league match at Dayton Valley last Thursday.

Earley carded a 95, which was good enough for an eighth-place tie individually. Incline’s Mitchell Cornell, the state runner-up finisher each of the past two years, earned medalist honors with a 71.

Incline claimed the victory with a low score of 441 between its top five scorers. Whittell (485) finished runner-up and was followed by Sierra Lutheran (500), Yerington (524), North Tahoe (553) and Sage Ridge (617).

Freshman Connor Hipsley recorded the Lakers’ second lowest score, with a 108. Jack Lemke shot 112, Jake Inclan 114, Adrian Brambila 124 and Shayn Hanly 129.

North Tahoe is scheduled to compete in a Northern Division III match at Eagle Valley Golf Course in Carson City on April 16.
