North Tahoe soccer | Girls, boys win league games at Dayton

Both North Tahoe soccer teams earned Sierra League wins at Dayton on Thursday.

The North Tahoe girls scored the game’s only goal in the 33rd minute to knock off the Dust Devils, 1-0, while the Laker boys came from behind in the second half for a 2-1 win.

North Tahoe’s girls improved to 2-2-1 in league and Dayton fell to 2-3. The Laker boys improved to 1-3-1 in league.

In the girls’ game, Kelley Holman scored on a long, unassisted shot in the 37th minute. Riley McCarthy scored the Laker boys’ first goal, while Zach Rickenbach followed with the winning goal.
