North Tahoe volleyball | Lakers split season series against Silver Stage

The Nighthawks got their revenge.

After sweeping past Silver Stage in straight sets at home earlier this month, North Tahoe fell in four hard-fought sets at Silver Stage’s home Tuesday, 23-25, 24-26, 27-25, 19-25.

Senior Baylee Goodwin led the Lakers with 10 kills and three service aces, while Kalia Norris tallied 21 digs, Taylor Briggs had nine kills and four aces, Jordan Briggs had nine kills and 11 digs, and Rikki Partain had five kills, four aces and seven digs.

Sophomore setter Tilley Gibeaut finished with 20 assists and Jamie Dodge two assists, and Sherene Clegg added six kills.

The Lakers (3-9 league) will host Yerington (11-0) on Friday to end the regular season.
