North Tahoe volleyball | Perennial power Lions too much for Lakers

The North Tahoe volleyball team dropped a Division III match on Dollar Hill against perennial power Yerington on Friday, 13-25, 11-25, 14-25.

Yerington sophomore Kassidy Lommori led the Lions with a match-high nine kills, while North Tahoe sophomore Jordan Briggs posted eight kills and 13 digs to lead the Lakers.

Senior Taylor Briggs tallied five kills, two service aces and six digs, Tilley Gibeaut finished with 14 assists and a kill, Baylee Goodwin had two kills, Kalia Norris had 13 digs, Jamie Dodge had 10 digs, and Rikki Partain had one kill.

The Lakers are now 5-8 overall and 1-4 in league. Yerington remains undefeated in league, at 5-0, and is 13-8 overall.

North Tahoe played a league match at Incline on Tuesday. The Lakers are scheduled to host Silver Stage on Thursday at 5 p.m.
