Prosser forms volleyball team
The newly formed Prosser Creek Charter school middle school girl’s volleyball team played their first two matches this week.
Formed and coached by Dave Shelton and Peter Morris, the Prosser Creek Panthers represent the school’s first competitive team sport.
In their first game, the Panthers were defeated by North Tahoe Intermediate school in two games. Team PCCS came together Thursday night, winning both matches against Kingsbury at St. Teresa’s in South Lake Tahoe. The girls’ serving and teamwork were much improved in their second game, coming together on the court and playing more confident ball.
Panthers team members are Camille Gannam, Shirley Meder, Kenzi Morris, Rose Munday, Blythe Olson, Kirstin Olson, Andrea Roegiers, Danielle Shelton and Natalie Smith.
