Rob Rojas wins Tahoe Fall Classic 22-Miler

Rob Rojas of San Clemente captured first place in the fourth annual Tahoe Fall Classic 22-Mile Paddleboard Race on Lake Tahoe on Sunday, Sept. 18.

Rojas, an O’Neill-sponsored athlete, posted a time of 3 hours, 18 minutes and 26 seconds to finish ahead of runner-up Hogan Kania of Greenbrae, who finished in 3:44:10.

Rand Carter of Tahoe Vista was the top local finisher, as he placed seventh in a time of 3:50:35.



A total of 91 people finished the race, including 9-year-old paddlers Trent Carter of Tahoe Vista and Joshua Bracket of South Lake Tahoe.

The race was the third and final stop on the O’Neill Tahoe Cup Race Series.
