Shannon Bahrke places 6th, 11th in moguls at Worlds

U.S. Ski Team reports

INWASHIRO, Japan – Shannon Bahrke of Tahoe City led the U.S. women with a sixth-place finish in moguls at the 2009 FIS Freestyle Ski World Championships in Japan on Saturday.

She followed with an 11th-place finish in the dual moguls event Sunday.

In the men’s competition, Sho Kashima of South Lake Tahoe took sixth on Saturday and 10th on Sunday.
