Softball champs crowned
Pete N Peter’s and Loverde Builders won their respective division titles in the Tahoe City Public Utility District Parks and Recreation Men’s Softball League.
The championship games, played at North Tahoe High School’s Bechdolt Field and Upper Field on Aug. 13, were filled with intense defensive plays and some great hitting.
Playoffs were broken down into two divisions ” with Pete N Peter’s winning the East and Loverde Builders taking the West ” with a total of eight teams.
The other six men’s teams in the playoffs included Haberger Produce, The Store-Free Agents and CB’s Pizza/DNS Inc. of the East Division, and Coast Guard Lake Tahoe, The Boulders and Tahoe Park Yetis of the West Division.
