Learn valuable injury prevention exercises while achieving efficient biomechanical stride via drills. Weekly workouts to train physiological systems include specific strength and technique intervals, power and speed, tempo, and lactate threshold intervals. All abilities are encouraged to join. Training takes place from 7-8 a.m. Tuesdays, in six-week sessions. Cost is $100 per six-week session. Classes are for those ages 16 and older with strong swimming skills. Classes are from 8-10 a.m. on Saturdays through July 10 at West End Beach. Sign up through the Truckee-Donner Recreation andamp; Park District, at 582-7720.Youth tennis campTahoe City PUD Park and Recreation is offering youth tennis camps this summer for kids ages 5 to 12. The first session will be held from July 12-16, followed by a session from July 19-23, both at North Tahoe High School. Cost is $10 per day or $45 per week.
