Ponderosa Golf Course opens Friday, May 6 with $10 golf. Open play on holes 4 through 9 only, due to snow on holes 1, 2 and 3. Open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Call 587-3501 for more info.

North Tahoe Rams holding early sign-ups

The North Tahoe Rams are holding early Pop Warner sign-ups on Saturday, May 7 at Preston Field from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Early sign-up costs are $130, as opposed to later sign-ups at $160. Anyone ages 10 to 14 is welcome.

Drop-in Pickleball at rec center

The TDRPD will offer drop-in Pickleball on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at the Community Recreation Center. Cost is $4 per session. For more information contact Pete Kristian at 550-4452 or petek@tdrpd.com.

Bike Derby slated for May 14

The Tahoe City Parks and Recreation Department will hold its fourth annual Bike Derby at the Rideout Community Center on Saturday, May 14. The TCPUD and other hosting associations have an afternoon planned full of food, games, bike safety and repair stations, an obstacle course, and even the and#8220;Tour de Rideout.and#8221; For more information or to volunteer, contact TCPUD Recreation Coordinator Shaun Chilkotowsky at 583-3440, extension 14.

Open gym offered at Rideout

Open gym is being offered at the Rideout in Tahoe City on Tuesday evenings from 6-8 p.m. Cost is $2 per person.
