The event was a fundraiser in support of Tahoe Forest Hospital’s cancer prevention programs. The challenging but scenic 3.6-mile run and hike started from Squaw Valley’s base village before climbing 2,000 vertical feet to High Camp at 8,200 feet. In addition to the run and hike, the Nature Valley Walk took participants over a variety of trails, starting and finishing at the Village at Squaw.
