State track and field | Quinn Parker, Noah McDermott bring home multiple state titles

Truckee sophomore Quinn Parker dominated the sprint events at the 3A State Track Championships in Reno this past Friday and Saturday, winning state titles in four different events, while North Tahoe sophomore Noah McDermott claimed duel titles in the distance events.

McDermott won his titles in the 1,600- and 3,200-meter runs. Parker captured titles in the 100-, 200- and 400-meter dashes, and was a member of the winning 4×400 relay along with Tareyn Ryan, Gabby Rinne and Skyler Flora.
