Strongest finish yet for cross-country

The Truckee High School cross country team had its best finish at last week’s meet in South Shore.

The boy’s team finished the event in 21st place with the coed team finished third.

“The girls ran really great,” said coach Mark Brady.

The 2.2 mile relay team of Whitney Prosor, Katie Clark, Matt Gelso and Loren Myers had a great race.

Victor Diaz finished ninth in the open class.

“The team is really starting to come around,” Brady said. “I’m really pleased with how they did.”
