The following are classes offered through the Truckee-Donner Recreation and Park District:Personal Protection: Learn safe storage of a firearm plus proper use of a handgun. Tuesday/Thurs, June 16 & 18, 6-10 p.m. $75 + CCW certificate.Teen Hip Hop – ages 13-19: Learn the latest in dance moves for Friday night dances this summer. Mondays, 3:30-4:30 p.m. at the Vets Hall. $28 per four weeks or $9 drop-in. Preregister at the Community Center.Dog Obedience: June 9-July 21; 6-7 p.m., $65. Transform your wild animal into an enjoyable companion.Oil Painting: June 23 and 25, 6:30-8:30 p.m., $40.Ballroom Dance: Mondays, June 8-29, 7-9:45 p.m., $45 couple/$25 single.Soccer Clinic, ages 6-16: Train with internationally known coach Dennis Belisle.
