Swimmers slam Incline

The boys’ and girls’ swim teams both came up with victories over Incline Tuesday. The boy’s won the meet 77-27, while the girl’s swam past Incline 188-59.

“Everyone swam really well,” said coach Amy Anderson. “We had three teams in each of three relay events. We really dominated in the relays.”

Juniors Leslie Ajari, Lindsay Collin, Kara LaPoint, and senior Lauren Browning all took first places in both of their individual events.

More than half of the swimmers on the THS swim team have qualified for the Zone trials meet on May 9, and 10.

The Wolverines will take on their league rivals Bishop Manogue May 3.

“It’s going to be a really critical meet. The girls’ team is tied with Manogue. A win means they will win first in their league. It will be a really high intensity, high competition meet. As a coach I’m really looking forward to it,” said Anderson.
