Tour de Nez: Truckee’s Katerina Nash takes third in women’s pro race

Truckee’s Katerina Nash raced to a third-place finish in the Tour de Nez’s women’s pro criterium Thursday evening in downtown Truckee.

The event kicked off three days of racing that continues Friday night in Reno and culminates Saturday at the Village at Northstar.

Nash placed third behind Reno’s Amber Rais and Stacy Marple of Oakland.



In the pro men’s competition, Chad Gerlach took the top spot ahead of Jonathan Baker and Steve Reaney.
