Truckee Elementary kids perform well at inaugural fun run

Mary Luban of Truckee took first place overall in the 10K race at the inaugural Running Wild Fun Run at Tahoe Donner on June 12.

TRUCKEE, Calif. — Truckee Elementary School held its inaugural Running Wild Fun Run on the trails of Tahoe Donner on Sunday, June 12.

Participants took part in a 5K, 10K and kids one-mile obstacle course. Mary Luban of Truckee won the 10K in a time of 52 minutes, 7 seconds. Meanwhile, Truckee’s Dillon Flynn, 9, captured the 5K race in 27:51.
