Truckee football teams a big hit at home
In a seesaw battle highlighted by big plays, the Truckee High varsity football team pulled out a 35-32 comeback victory against non-league opponent Live Oak in the final minute of regulation Saturday in Truckee.
Leading the Wolverines offensively were senior wingback Ben Tonon, who scored two touchdowns, and senior split end Brandon Peterson, who scored three times, including the game-winning catch in the end zone with about 30 seconds on the clock.
