Truckee girls tennis edges Spanish Springs

The Truckee High girls tennis team defeated Spanish Springs 10-8 in tightly contested battle Tuesday.
The score was tied 3-3 in the first round, with Truckee picking up wins from Cami Straw, Natalie Cutler and the doubles team of Haley Busby and Shanley Porter.
Moving into the second round, the score was again tied, this time at 6-6 after the Wolverines received wins from Straw, Kelsey Falkenberg and Shalyn Stelck.
Truckee led 4-2 in the third round, with wins from Straw and Courtney Pomeroy and the doubles teams of Allie Beyer and Coree Sharp as well as Busby and Porter.
In the end, Porter and Busby recorded the winning point for the Wolverines.
