Truckee golf takes third at state

The Wolverine golf team placed third this past week at the state finals match in Boulder City.

The Wolverines finished with a total team score of 815.

Junior Kevin Waters lead the team with a two day total of 156. Waters shot a 75 his first day and 81 his second day.



Sophomore Wes Hollabaugh finished his first day with an 82. The second day Wes improved on his score finishing with a 76.

Senior Justin Draheim finished the first day with an 85. On the second day he managed to shave six strokes to finish with a two day total of 164.




Sophomore Nathan Wrenn finished his first day with an 87. Wrenn battled back to finish the second day with a 78.

Senior Kyle Anderson turned in a 91 on his first day and an 82 on his second day.

Senior Doug Coombs finished with a 90 on the first day and an 85 on the second.
