Truckee High School plans Homecoming activities for Saturday

It’s Homecoming time again as the Tahoe-Truckee High School Wolverines take on defending state champions Spring Creek Saturday at Truckee’s Surprise Stadium (JV 11:30 a.m., varsity 1:30 p.m.).

The homecoming festivities kick off Saturday morning at 8:30 with a parade beginning downtown and continuing to the high school.

At halftime, the Homecoming court will be presented and the Homecoming king and queen will be announced.

The candidates

The senior queen candidates include: Kirsten Mickelson, Lindsey Back, Jennifer Marks, Nancy Brewer, Katie Tierney and Leslie DuRoure.

The senior king candidates include: Wes Thelen, Kyle Barth, Randy Vasquez, Ryan Brooke and Chris Gerdin.

Princes and princesses

The junior prince and princess are Brad Noel and Jessica McGovern.

The sophomore prince and princess are Kyle Hunt and Jasmine Stevens.

The freshman prince and princess are Andre Echinique and Sylvia Lopez.
