Truckee JV girls’ soccer | Wolverines win again

The Truckee JV girls’ soccer team controlled the entire game against Portola on Tuesday, winning 6-0.

Although the Wolverines came out a bit flat, they quickly got their heads in the game when Ashley Harris scored the first goal. Harris also scored the second goal when Cynthia Santana crossed the ball to her to set up a beautiful shot. Harris then assisted Lauren Huseby for the team’s third goal.

The team scored again when Shelby Matthews launched a corner kick and Lauren Huesby tapped the ball in the net. Quinn Parker then crossed the ball to Matthews, who scored the fifth goal. The final goal was scored by Sydney Vandenberg off of an assist by Karina Rivera.
