Truckee Little League competing in Renegade and Hooligan tournament
Truckee Little League’s tournament teams are competing all week, from June 18-24, in the Renegade and Hooligan Tournament in Reno.
The tournament is hosted by Nevada Little League District 1, which includes 12 leagues located throughout the Truckee, Lake Tahoe, Carson City and Reno areas.
The Renegades team is made up of players ages 9 and 10, while the Hooligan squad is made up of 11- and 12-year-olds. The Renegades are coached by Peter Siebelink and Doug Flynn. Coaches Danny Van Enoo, Vic Ferrera and Jeff Rogers lead the Hooligans.

Edgewood Tahoe to host US Open qualifier
STATELINE, Nev. — The United States Golf Association recently announced that Edgewood Tahoe Resort will host one of 109 local qualifying tournaments for the 2021 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines.
