Truckee Little League set for tournament play

Truckee Little League will be fielding three all-star teams in a Reno tournament this weekend.

The 9-10 All Stars will be playing Reno American East at 11 a.m. on Saturday and the 10-11 All Stars will be playing Sparks National at 6 p.m. on Sunday. The games will be played at South Valleys Sports Complex in south Reno. The 11-12 All-Star team begins play on July 10 in Carson City.

The Renegades ” a separate team of 9- and 10-year-olds in addition to the 9-10 All-Star team ” have completed their tournament, going 1-4 but making it out of the round-robin round.

Renegades: Henry Blinoff, Spencer Pearson, Mathew Bush, Harrison Alonzo, Dylan Clifton, Nathan Golden, Tawnya Curtis, Bradley Razo, Jonathan Spaich, Brandon Flora, Liam Vivian, Cody Tilton, Calvin Brady. Bob Bush (head coach), Jon Spaich (coach), Dave Alonzo (coach)

9-10 All Stars: Andrew Blaker, Griffin Churich, Blake Crosby, Kasey English, Colin Gerrard, Riley Guiragossian, Nathan Keese, Andrew Metlenko, Sam Mohun, Thor Retzlaff, Ryan Sewell, Louden Smith, Nathan Wayda. John Mohun (head coach), Dave Guiragossian (coach), Dave Wayda (coach).
