Truckee is scheduled to host league games against Spring Creek on Friday at 5 p.m. and Elko on Saturday at noon. Friday’s game is at Alder Creek Middle School, while Saturday’s game was moved to North Tahoe High School in Tahoe City.

The Truckee boys soccer team bounced back from its loss to Sparks last Wednesday with a 5-0 win over visiting Fallon on Friday.

The Wolverines scored three early goals to take control. Alex Lopez and Zack Barta scored in the third and fourth minutes, both unassisted, and Joel Garcia added a third goal in the eight minute on an assist from Gonzalez.

Gonzalez got in on the scoring action with an unassisted goal just two minutes into the second half, and Manny Sarabia rounded out the offense with a goal assisted by Barta in the 50th minute.

Truckee, which defeated Incline 1-0 on Monday, is now 4-4 overall and 1-1 in Northern Division I-A play. Fallon is 0-2 in league after a 3-1 loss at Spring Creek on Saturday.
