Truckee boys soccer players were rewarded with nine selections to the Northern Division I-A All-League teams, voted on by the league’s coaches.
Truckee senior Rolando Zarate was voted to the All-League first team at forward, while senior teammate Max Barta made the first team as a fullback, junior Thomas Arnstein as a halfback and sophomore Gabby Serna at goalkeeper.
Sparks’ Ruben Pacheco was voted Most Valuable Player and his coach, Frank Avilla, was Coach of the Year.
The Wolverines also landed four players on the All-League second team — freshman Manuel Sarabia at forward, junior David Martinez at halfback, senior Armando Diaz at fullback and junior Jordan Fereira as a utility player.
Junior halfback Leo Villa received honorable mention.
