Truckee is scheduled to play league games at Spring Creek and Elko this Friday and Saturday.

The Truckee girls are off to a 2-0 start in league play after defeating Fallon 3-1 on the road Friday.

Truckee then paid back Incline on Monday for a nonleague loss earlier this season, as the Wolverines shut out the host Highlanders by a 5-0 score.

Against Fallon, Sophie Curtis put Truckee on the board with a goal assisted by Olivia Vigano five minutes into the contest.

Fallon knotted the score in the 16th minute but then scored an own-goal in the 24th minute to give Truckee the 2-1 lead.

Vigano added an insurance goal for the Wolverines, assisted by Zareli Villa, in the 68th minute.

Fallon dropped to 0-2 in league after a loss to Lowry on Saturday.

Against Incline, Villa scored Truckee’s first and last goals of the game — assisted by Vigano and Heather Pendleton in the ninth and 74th minutes, respectively.

In between, Marley Simpson scored in the 28th minute on an assist from Curtis, Incline scored an own-goal in the 31st minute, and Amber Simonpietri scored in the 68th minute on an assist from Noelle Seppi.

Truckee’s JV girls team also defeated Fallon, 1-0. Tati Klenk scored the Wolverines’ one goal and was assisted by Daphne Lazo.
